The Only Constant is Change

DEAR LAURA (and anyone else who needs these words):

Let this be a year
of saying yes to yourself,
of embracing change
and welcoming transition.

What if,
instead of holding your breath,
anticipating pain and discomfort,
you breathe through the hard part?

What if you let the threshold
truly transport you,
instead of projecting a barrier
where only a portal awaits?

What if you loved yourself more,
cared for yourself as deeply as you care for others,
and treated yourself with
compassion, grace, tenderness,
and fierce loyalty?

What if you gave yourself permission to shine brighter than ever before?

I’ll be waiting for you in the unknown.
